Con Gusto is a St. Catharines bakery that specializes in handcrafted breads, pastries and cakes. All of our products are baked from scratch on the premises, using high quality ingredients, with no preservatives and no trans-fats. Our business is set apart not only by the quality and craftsmanship of our products, but also by the convenience and excitement of a client-focused bakery which also serves Illy Espresso, Cappuccino, Coffee and Gourmet Teas.

Con Gusto means “in good taste,” and it is the perfect way to describe the mission of our business: to bring fine foods to people who appreciate them. Our name is both a reflection of our objectives and an indication of Executive Chef Giovanni Stanziano’s Italian heritage and influence.

Executive Chef Giovanni Stanziano was born and raised in the Niagara Peninsula, and began his culinary training at an early age. He has worked as an apprentice under Chef Mark Picone, C.C.C. at Vineland Estates Winery, and successfully completed Niagara College’s Culinary Apprentice program. In 2005, Giovanni was awarded Red Seal Certification; this qualification is recognized among chefs across the country.
